Lloyd’s are recruiting for a Claims Implementation Specialist you will be involve engaging with stakeholders from the insurance industry, including managing agents, brokers and service providers and helping them develop, adopt and embed various claims initiatives. Initially the role will focus on fully embedding the Faster Claims Payment (FCP) service, provided by Vitesse, into the Lloyd’s market.
The role holder will work closely with underwriter, broker and DCA communities, as well as market associations and service managers, such as LIMOSS. The role holder will also play a key role in helping to identify and develop process and technology related changes
and enhancements to continuously improve the service and broaden its usage globally. Once developed, they will also work closely with the market as they implement these improvements.
Responsibilities
Using their subject matter expertise (SME) to support and help individuals and teams within these
companies understand/follow agreed processes and best practices, as well as helping to address any issues or problems that may arise.
Work closely with the service provider/manager and key market stakeholders to develop and agree
new processes and best practices, as well as help to create and keep up to date associated training
material
Support/lead the delivery of training sessions and system demos to the market
Support firms as they adopt and then scale up this new way of working and address any questions or
concerns raised in a timely and effective manner
Provide general SME support for users and act as an escalation point for difficult questions and/or
how to deal with new/complex business scenarios
Work collaboratively with market associations and service provider/manager to address
concerns/issues and optimise opportunities to drive adoption and increase use across the market;
will include attending and presenting at LIMOSS FCP Steering Group and Market User Group
meetings etc
Keep various internal ‘Adoption Tracker’ reports up-to-date and progress any agreed actions in a
timely and effective manner; actions will include 1-2-1s with MAs, DCAs and brokers
Support discovery, development and adoption of changes and scope enhancements to continuously
improve the service; will include proactive involvement in ‘Backlog’ prioritisation sessions with market stakeholders and service provider/manager, helping to draft formal Change Request documents for
agreed changes etc
Support implementation of any agreed changes or scope enhancements e.g. updating training
materials, preparing market comms etc
Act as a point of contact for general engagement/queries from other internal Lloyd’s and external
teams, such as Velonetic
Skills
Subject matter expertise in Delegated Authority claims processes and procedures, including financial
processing and reconciliation activities
Experience in implementing business change e.g. requirements gathering, development, UAT, training, post implementation support etc
Understanding core London market systems and processes eg ECF, IMR etc
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience of dealing with people at all levels (from C-suite to technician level), and building strong/positive relationships with same
Have a ‘right first time’ approach to their work and a laser focus on achieving results
Presentation and facilitation skills
Communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity and a constantly changing environment
Comfortable in handling objections and challenging stakeholders, who may be frustrated or resistant to change
Ability to solve problems and think analytically/creatively to identify and offer solutions that achieve a mutually acceptable outcome
Flexible and able to quickly adapt their approach to achieve the outcome they are aiming for
Happy to roll their sleeves up to get things done and help their team as required
