Reports to: Customer Development Manager KA IC
Location: Warsaw

JOB PURPOSE:

Local retail chains in the Proximity market are becoming more and more powerful, stabilizing their position in individual regions. To be able to compete on the increasingly difficult market, stores join the already existing local retail chains or create new local retail chains and buyers' associations. The headquarters of local retail chains, by pursuing a consistent policy, have an increasing influence on what is happening in stores and on the positions of individual producers. To serve our customers and consumers much better and win with the competition, Unilever needs increased efficiency through better management of local retail chains located on the Polish market.

The work of Key Account Manager Regional Local Chains is work in Ice Cream category, building competitive advantage in the headquarters of over 20 regional retail chains, which translates into over 5,000 points of sale (serviced and not serviced by UL sales representatives) that belong to local retail chains. This is an important position within the OOH structure in Poland, which puts the person in the spotlight, not only in local business, but improves leadership thinking and strategic thinking skills.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own full performance for "Sales Execution Strategy" for Regional Local Chains for Ice Cream division.

  • Implement and execute a strategy for the entire channels.

  • Build an efficient communication model between all departments in an Executive Sales and Distribution Team.

  • Achieving sales and quality goals in ICE division (sell-out, product availability, distribution of TOP products, launch of new products) with customers.

  • Timely and qualitative performance and reporting of assigned tasks.

  • Building long-term partnership relationships and searching for new business development opportunities.

  • Initiating, coordinating and controlling promotions for customers.

  • Creates trade agreements and ensures their effective implementation (P4P).

  • Work with trade marketing teams of the channel, which help the business to recruit more consumers in our brands.

  • Responsible for budgets and efficiency of investments.

  • Data driven and analytical, comfortable to work with numbers and get actionable insight to drive them and use them effectively with finance & marketing – Concepts of ROI/ cost optimization and P&L.

  • Strong understanding of operating environment and leveraging technology & analytics as a solution for business problems.

SOFT SKILLS

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS  

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in sales / channel marketing & FMCG space.

  • Experience, in multi-customers management for a minimum 5 years.

  • Good understanding of Polish changing retail environment.
