To start with, the position of International Key Account Manager (IKAM) is part of the Global Sales team. An diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. As the IKAM, you will be together with the Global Customer Director responsible for developing successful relationships with International customers. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:
We are looking for an agile commercial professional with a drive for excellence. Someone who holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role, we feel it’s important for you to have seniority in negotiations and a deep understanding of the Amazon platform. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people who appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must-haves,” but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. To give you a bit of guidance as to what is needed in this role, here is our list:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
Minimum 10 years of sales or eCommerce experience, with a proven track record in FMCG.
Expertise in managing Amazon as a key account, including experience with Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
Proven international experience and ability to navigate complex, multi-level organizations.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights.
Experience in operational processes such as inventory management, pricing strategies, and digital advertising within Amazon’s ecosystem.
Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated success in driving strategic outcomes.
Fluency in English is required as it is the primary language of communication.
