The Global Customer Partnership team is a key strategic focus of Pernod Ricard, building long term business critical partnerships with some of the largest on trade operators in the world. The International Account Manager will join a highly experienced team that lead the industry in relationships, knowledge and success. The individual joining this team will work closely with all members in a cross functional manner focusing on Customers, Internal Brand Company’s and Market relationships supporting the delivery of consumer activation at scale.
The International Key Accounts Manager will be individually responsible for driving the growth of specified International On-Trade Partners, both existing and target, with P&L responsibility, driving presence, visibility and activation of the Pernod Ricard portfolio, forging deep long-term value adding relationships and securing Pernod Ricard’s position as preferred partner/supplier of choice/go to partner.
A key part of the Role will centre on customer management work across the full Pernod Ricard portfolio helping to achieve overall international key account growth and development across EMEA, LATAM and APAC. Successful alignment with our BCO’s and MCO’s is essential for success.
Ultimately the role will drive incremental business/measurable incremental profit and will help deliver long term value growth.
Develop annual strategic Key Account Plan for each customer considering, account prioritisation, BCO IBP & engagement and support, MCO alignment.
Drive Top 300 venue implementation & excellence.
Secure Incremental new business in line with group strategy and priorities.
Support the Global distribution of Portfolio products into market.
Deliver brand strategy into account activation with the Global Customer Development Manager.
Display senior leadership qualities when representing HQ, working with on trade Directors in key Market Co’c
Building Global relationships internally “making the world smaller”
Harness and monetise the Pernod Ricard internal tools such as PBT, BarSmarts, Star Drinks.
Support with account management of existing agreements.
Manage individual P&L’s and Maintain overall P&L’s.
Co-ordinate Market Spend, working to deliver Market Recharges
Your key missions
Support existing & Win New International Business:
Support the key account strategy and roadmap for account acquisition of global partnerships.
Provide clear robust stock and profit forecasts along with transparency and clarity around international group agreements to BCO’s, MCO’s, HQ supporting the Global Customer Development manager.
Develop deep relationships with key customers at strategic levels. Establish PR as an essential business partner.
Manage, monitor and assess performance / compliance of the international deals on a regular basis monitoring Internal spend and collating detail of our market & the markets spend.
Be responsible for all specific P&L’s, budgeting, administration and payments in conjunction with the deals. Build presence and relationships through participation in the customer’s conferences, industry events, forums and network circles in order to identify business opportunities and establish relevant connections.
Deliver Commercial Tools:
Help develop and deliver business driving, account management and portfolio activation tools in support of commercial deals – Brand activation, bartender advocacy (SIP), BarSmarts, PBT, visibility, performance and management tools.
Build Partnerships beyond transactional relationships, monetising our tools in agreements.
Global Business Development:
Be a key support for the Head of Global Accounts.
Act as the voice of the customer, representing their interests and needs internally.
Be a strong advocate GCP, engage people in senior management, BCO’s and MCO’s with regular contact and briefing; mobilise the organisation around the opportunities that exist for Pernod Ricard to grow profits and grow brands, Drive coverage and performance of out (Top 300 Accounts) with MCO support.
Support the delivery of Brand Strategy through activation with the Global Customer Development Manager; Drive S&R programs.
Play a full team role in the wider Business Development team.

At least 5 years' experience leading global or regional commercial role; negotiating and managing global accounts is preferable.
Total 360 Account Management incorporating interpersonal skills/relationship building, negotiations and joint business planning.
Knowledge and familiarity across spectrum of on-premise channels.
Affinity with the wine & spirits and customers’ industries is preferable.
Fluency in English; French is a plus
Existing network in the customers’ industry is preferable.
Global coordination and collaboration.
Strong understanding of hotel, restaurant and general On-Trade Operations.
Pernod Ricard Brand Knowledge.
Activation and Trade Marketing knowledge is preferable.
Proven ability to manage financial accounts and analysis of data.
