Contract ending Nov 2025, with possibility to become permanent

We are hiring a Key Account Manager in HIV who will be responsible for leading the strategic approach across key target accounts to deliver uptake of our promoted medicines. As a Key Account Manager, you will be working closely with the cross functional team, and you will be accountable for generating appropriate use of GSK/ViiV's licensed assets in hospitals by providing Health Care Professionals (HCPs) with highly credible and engaging interactions on our promoted HIV medicines. You will be accountable for the development and maintenance of strategic account plans to support the appropriate use of our medicines, working with the cross-functional team, ensuring overall coordination for a seamless customer experience.

The position is a vacant position until 30.11.2025 with possibility of becoming permanent, start date as soon as possible. The role involves responsibility for HCPs across Norway, which means that travel will be required. The position is not location-specific, and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in Norway. 

In this role you will…

  • Act as the HIV Treatment Key Account Manager for GSK/ViiV Norway, driving sales through effective collaboration with key customers
  • Utilize business acumen to analyse insights, sales data, and market research to set strategic direction and explore tailored initiatives
  • Monitor and measure performance, identifying trends and opportunities to drive competitiveness. Regularly seek feedback to improve account management and selling skills
  • Develop and lead cross-functional, multichannel account plans aligned with brand-specific national action plans
  • Implement an omnichannel approach across face-to-face, digital, and multimedia touchpoints, ensuring alignment with customer preferences
  • Engage key customers via local, regional, and national events, including digital events, and deliver commercially focused sales conversations

Why you? 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Industry Certifications (LMI) required
  • University degree in relevant field (science, medical or commercial) or equivalent experience
  • Health care professional background – Nurse, doctor, pharmacist
  • Minimum 4 years sales experience from similar position in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within HIV or hospital environment
  • Fluent Norwegian and English language
  • Driving license is required

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated expertise in building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, paired with exceptional communication and presentation skills to foster engagement and collaboration
  • Strong account management skills, with experience in developing and executing cross-functional, multichannel plans
  • Business acumen to analyze insights, sales data, and market research for strategic direction
  • Experience with omnichannel approaches, including face-to-face, digital, and multimedia touchpoints
  • Track record of monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to excel in complex and diverse environments. Driven by a proactive 'can-do' attitude, a collaborative team spirit, and a passion for continuous improvement.
