Job Description

What will your work involve? 

  • You will be responsible for developing the GMV of a portfolio of Chinese merchants.
  •  To do this, you will analyse their potential and the strategic categories to be developed, working closely with them to identify the initiatives and plans that will develop their growth.
  • You will be responsible for delivering a commercial & marketing plan in the field of acquiring assortment from key strategic partners (brands, sellers, manufacturers),
  • You will be responsible for onboarding, educating, negotiating, building and maintaining long-term relationships with Chinese partners,
  • You will work closely with various internal departments, including category managers, customer experience, marketing, advertising, PR, legal and technology, to optimize solutions and build comprehensive knowledge about available tools and their use
  • You will be involved in the improvement of the products, by presenting the issues as well as the possible solutions for your clients

We are looking for a specialist who:

  • Has a minimum of 3-years experience in (cross-border) e-commerce or import/export relationship with Chinese companies
  • Is sales & customer oriented in the approach of topics
  • Is fluent in Chinese and English, both written and spoken (C1 Level minimum)
  • Is a team player and enjoys working in an international environment
  • Is able to work under pressure and is able to adapt to a fast-growing environment 
  • Has excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Is experienced in GSuite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Is a self-starter and results-focused
  • Is able to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients
