Job Description

This is more than a Key Account Manager role, this senior role will enable you to be impactful and involved in the growth of our business unit (BU) in Serbia, whilst we inspire & grow the builders of tomorrow!

As our Senior KAM for Serbia you'll report directly to the General Manager of BU HUGREAD and will be a member of the extended BU Leadership team. You'll be responsible for development, distribution, sales and merchandising of LEGO brand in Serbia.

We're pleased to share that we offer a hybrid working week arrangement called Best of Both, requiring 3 days in the office in Budapest and 2 days from home. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create, align and ensure smooth execution of a 3-year Serbian business acceleration plan (analyse current status quo, marketing strategy, Route to Market, distribution and logistics and propose improvement options).

  • Contribute and drive the Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) for Serbia partnering with Retail Commercial Development (RDC) Manager and Head of Marketing.

  • Accountable to deliver all Serbian KPIs like Consumer Sales, Turnover, EBIT, Forecast accuracy, Customer Pulse, market share and brand health, co-owning this latter two with the Marketing team.

  • Build long-term partnerships and day-to day contacts with all Key accounts at decision makers’ level.

  • Prepare joint customer business plans, forecasts, sales plans and trade investment budgets. Roll out the plan and achieve defined joint targets via managing day to day operation with the customers.

  • Ensure excellent instore executions via defining most cost-effective merchandising model.

Do you have what it takes.

  • Proven experience within a customer facing, Key Account management role at a strategic level.

  • Strong sales experience with hands on experience of successful negotiations & delivering multi-year account improvements.

  • Commercial & Entrepreneurial acumen; able to analyse market, retail and customer information turning them into insights. Able to identify business opportunities both with short- and long-term impact.

  • Problem-solver, who sees problem as an opportunity.

  • Good knowledge of the Serbian market is an advantage.

  • Fluent in the English language both verbal and written, CV must be submitted in English.

  • Knowledge of Serbian / Hungarian language is advantageous.
