Role Overview

The Onboarding Specialist will support a variety of back-office functions necessary to board merchants onto the Planet processing platforms.  All tasks associated with successful merchant processing and refunds, including setup, account changes and process improvement will be performed.  The jobholder will deliver a professional service to internal and external customers, in a timely manner by ensuring that service delivery, quality control and all aspects of compliance are maintained.

What you will do

  • Gather, assess, and complete onboarding forms. Set up merchants in Planet’s Tax Free processing systems.
  • Support Sales and technical team requests related to account settings, contracts and sales strategy.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues/inquiries by collaborating with other colleagues and departments.
  • Create and mail Welcome packs and material orders to merchants and provide training as needed.
  • Manage SLA, for all requests. Utilize ticketing systems to validate work and prioritize tasks.
  • Utilize reports and research sources for details related to onboarding.

  • Strong ability to understand end-to-end tax-free processing.
  • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels and support for sales teams.
  • Strong sense of responsibility to Planet's customers to ensure those customers have an exceptional customer experience with Planet.
  • Ability to create procedures and train co-workers.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Multi-lingual: local language and English strictly required.  Other languages desired
